The humanization of everything
Let's face it; we humans think the sun rises and sets on humankind. We give human characteristics and traits to animals (Bambi, Bugs, Barney,. Nemo) even though they survive quite nicely with the ones they came with. Have you ever seen a Preying Mantis catch a grasshopper? It just grabs the hopper and starts eating. (Oh, that's cruel!) Do you realize that it is the fate of the majority of things in the sea to be eaten alive? In Alaska the wolf and eagle populations rise and fall with the annual rabbit population. In the Animal Kingdom, one is born either predator or prey, or often both.
And, of course, we don't stop with animals. We give God human characteristics also. When many people attempt to picture God they see an old man with a long white beard. Something like Dumbledore in the Harry Potter movies. We are told that we can make God angry. We are told that we can please God; make Him happy. We are told this by folks who say they read it in the Bible. When we are told this it is usually in the context that if we act in some charitable way we can make God happy and that if we have any fun that God will be angry. The truth is that God, that is, the One Source, is incapable of anger. The truth is that God doesn't care one way or the other what we do. It isn't necessary. There are Laws (Its laws) which govern all of the Kingdoms which exist; The Mineral Kingdom, The plant Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, The Human Kingdom, and all of the spiritual kingdoms. The Laws cannot be broken. The basic law is, "if - then".
If you read the bible for spiritual instruction there are only three things you need to get from it.
1. In the beginning... God created man in His image. (A truth you need to understand.)
2. As you sow, you shall reap. (This Law is unbreakable)
3. As you would have others do unto you, do you likewise unto them.
Number 3 is an explanation as to how to keep from breaking number 2. The rest of the Bible is commentary. The thing to remember is...
God is Love. Again, God IS Love. Love and fear cannot coexist. Any organization which seeks to hold its membership by teaching fear, whether it is fear of excommunication, or fear of hell-fire, has nothing to do with God (and vice versa). Nothing to do with God. Everything to do with power and control. One of the greatest evils that was ever loosed on humanity was when one man decided it was up to him to tell others what God required.
As hard as we might look we cannot SEE God. And yet we see God everywhere we look. When we look at the ocean we see God. When we look at a loved one we see God. When we look at a skid mark on the pavement we see God. When we look at Jack the Ripper we see God. There are no good things. There are no bad things. There are only things. There are no good people. There are no bad people. There are only people. Sometimes people make choices which are not in the best interest of all concerned, but no one ever gets away with anything. Choices have consequences. There is no free lunch. What goes around really does come around.
As you read this blog (if you read this blog) you will see that it captures the maturation process of one who is constantly seeking, with an open mind, the answers to many questions. You are more than welcome to join me in this process.

We dodged a bullet
There are 6 billion Souls incarnate on the planet. The lagrest population in the history of humanity on planet Earth. Most of these people are living in terrible circumstances. The condidions of their lives include starvation, AIDS and other epidemics, living under totalitarian governments. Why would all of these Souls choose to come to Earth knowing the conditions under which they would be living? Why are they all here, living under these desparate circumstances, at this time? Because of the Grace of a Loving God.
Many of the members of todays humanity were given one last chance to incarnate. One last chance to choose good. One last chance to choose God. The events which were to encourage their choices are called, in their totality, The Tribulation*. The 7 year tribulation, at the time it was envisioned, was to have ended on Jan. 31, 1999. What happened?
It is due to the large number of Light Workers, which was not forseen 12000 years ago. Due to the large number of human Souls who have chosen Light; who understand that we are all One, the Tribulation was not only postponed but will not be as severe as it was initially seen to be. Postponing the Tribulation allows the Light Workers to influence many others to live their lives successfully. One thing to remember, however, is that these Souls who are desperate for the opportunity for spiritual success are still incarnate. Their opportunity to succeed will not be taken away from them. The Tribulation has not been called off. It will begin and end within the life-span of these who elected to experience it. But for now, we're on borrowed time.
*The Book of Revelation contains a symbolic account of The Tribulation. For a non-symbolic (read that, "terrifying") account, see "The Nature of Reality" available from www.hilarion.com

Who are you?
There is an old parlor game where the hostess hands out paper and pencil and asks everyone to answer the question, "Who are you?". Some of the answers are very revealing. "I am the sales manager at Wilson Beverages." "I am a wife and mother." "I am a cancer survivor." "I am a widow." And so on.
We say things like, "My arm is sore.", "My ankle is swelled." If you say, "I have a body.", does it seem to be a sensible statement? We say things like, "Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind." If you say, "I have a mind.", does that seem like a sensible statement?
If "you have a body" and "you have a mind", who are you? Who is that entity which wakes up every morning and says, "I'm back."? Who has the capability to say, "I Am."? It's not your body. It's not your mind. What aspect of you is self-aware? Try this:
Creators create.
Anything created in the image of a Creator is a Creator.
Creators create.
Among other things you are a creator. You create all the time. You can't not create. It's what creators do. You create your thoughts. Thoughts you create lead to actions you take. The thoughts you think; the words you speak; the actions you take are all energy-events. Everything in the Universe is energy and everything in the Universe responds to energy.
You and your Karma create your life circumstances. Your thoughts make you a generating station. They radiate from you like ripples in a pool. Every happening, every person whom you find in your environment was drawn there because of having a resonance to your thoughts. There is no chance nor accident in human affairs. No one has ever been the victim of others.

Initial offering
These writings will be structured to provoke searching and thinking about the relationship between humanity and the Universe. The only requirement to join in is an open mind.
There is much to say. While I am deciding on my first "Real Post", you might want to think about this:
"Religions are institutions of men. The One Source does not deal with us through our institutions but through unbreakable laws which have been in effect since before we existed."
