Light Workers. They're All Around Us

I came across an interesting website the other day. It is Abraham-Teachings. I recommend it.
It says, among other things...

"You may Appropriately depart your body without illness or pain.
You need not attract illness or pain as an excuse to leave. Your natural state, coming, remaining or leaving is that of health and well-being. (You are free to choose otherwise.)"

You know when you read words like these that they eminate from Higher Beings. Everything that needs to be said, on the subject, has been said. There is nothing extra to burden the conciseness of the message. It is beautiful in its simplicity.

It also begs us to study and ponder the scope of what was said and what was not said, but inferred. We all know someone who has "attracted" cancer, Parkinsons disease, Muscular Dystrophy, or other illnesses into their physical environment. We are told, here, that those who exhibit the symptoms of these illnesses chose to do so. It is obvious that these illnesses weren't chosen consciously, but by our higher selves. Why would we choose to inflect our physical vehicle with one of these diseases? Especially in light of the fact that when one of the diseases I mentioned not only affects the one exhibiting the symptoms, but also those in the immediate family of the one who has "chosen" the dis-ease.

We know that there is no chance nor accident in Human affairs. We attract everything from bee stings to car wrecks, to Cancer into our physical environment in order to experience them. We do it because it is in our ultimate best interest to have the experiences that accompany these physical situations.

But what of those in the immediate family of the one who has chosen, lets say, Muscular Dystrophy? If a married woman with a child becomes the 'victim' of this disease it changes the life of her husband and her child, expecially as the disease progresses. Can Mother's Higher Self inflect the worry and caregiving duties to the Higher Selves of her husband and child? Not unless they (The husband and child's Higher Selves) have agreed to it. The disease of one person can serve as a learning opportunity for all three of them. The agreement is probably made before any of the three come to earth (incarnate).

So we see that every illness or injury we see all around us has been chosen by the affected person as the best possible set of experiences for all concerned, to advance their Spiritual Advancement. Even (and especially) when it results in the death of the physical Human.
